Robot Boii

Robot Boii, born Mzwakhe Mbuli Jr., is a dynamic and multi-talented creator who can aptly be called a “jack of all trades”, carving his path across dance, music, entertainment and digital storytelling. He has become a standout figure in Amapiano culture and youth entertainment, blending high-energy dance, music and relatable content into a compelling personal brand.

What began as a passion for performance and choreography has blossomed into a multifaceted career. Robot Boii is widely recognised as an award-winning dancer, including winning Best Dancer in Africa at the 2023 Trace Africa Awards, and as the recipient of both the Overall Top Brand Award and the Top Personalities & Influencers Brand at the 2024 Top 16 Youth-Owned Brands Awards, signalling his influence beyond just performance.

His creativity has allowed him to transition into digital content creation, and he was even named an ambassador for Axe due to his ability to connect with youth culture. His content is humorous and relatable, and has opened doors for him in broadcast and production, including presenting on Channel O’s virtual party broadcast Lockdown House Party, co-hosting podcasts like Popcorn & Cheese, and earning nominations at major awards such as the South African Dance Music Awards.

Robot Boii continues to expand his reach while staying rooted in authentic creativity, performance and cultural connection, cementing him as both a creator and a voice in South African entertainment.
